STRESS MANAGEMENT
HOW TO REDUCE STRESS
HOW TO REDUCE STRESS
1. Pray (that today when I return home from the office, my wife is in good mood)
2. Go to bed on time. (this time comes not before all weeping and whining TV serials come to an end).
3. Get up on time so you can start the day unrushed. (This time is the only time your family never forgets)
4. Say No, to projects that won't fit into your time schedule, or that will compromise your mental health. (But, according to your wife and your boss, there can be no project to fit these conditions, so it never happens)
5. Delegate tasks to capable others. (only to find out those capable others overtake you and one of them become your boss).
6. Allow extra time to do things and to get to places. (When your wife and your boss eat up most of your scheduled time, Who gives you that extra time?)
7. Take one day at a time. (But, wife takes one year at a time and boss takes 3 years at a time.. so now what..?)
8. Live within your budget; don't use credit cards for ordinary purchases. (how to stop wife using it..?)
9. Have backups; an extra car key in your wallet, an extra house key buried in the garden, extra stamps, etc., (What to do if I forget the wallet at home, forgot where I buried the key and end up digging the whole courtyard, etc.)
10. K.M.S. (Keep Mouth Shut). This single piece of advice can prevent an enormous amount of trouble. (How to say it to others? Especially to your wife or boss or both?)
11. Do something for the Kid in You everyday. (But my wife everyday reminds me that I am getting older.. But she looks older than me and to hide that feeling she says that. so if I find something for the kid inside me, sure to have more stress)
12. While driving, listen to a tape that can help improve your quality of life. (such “100 tried and tested ways to cope with your wife and boss at the same time )
13. Take your work seriously, but yourself not at all. (Of course I take my work seriously, otherwise, I get fired and gets thrown out of my home as well. And it is surely a serious thing)
14. Develop a forgiving attitude (most people are doing the best they can). (God, that is the one and only thing I have developed.. No.. Mastered in… and that’s how I have my job and my marriage in tact)
15. Sit on your ego. (Ego…? Half of it died when I startedd my first venture )
16. Talk less; listen more. (Another lesson I got and I am a master in, after my marriage)
17. Remind yourself that you are not the general manager of the universe. (Fine.. How to make your boss understand he is not)
18. Every night before bed, think of one thing you're grateful for that you've never been grateful for before. (Sure by the time I find one, it will be morning)
